Production Requirements
I. Document Section:
l Name card size: 54 × 90 mm (1.5 mm margin is reserved on all four sides for bleed, so the actual size is 57 × 93 mm).
L Size of the leaflet: 210 × 285 mm (3 mm margin reserved on all sides for bleed, which means the actual size is 216 × 291 mm).
Other sizes can be found in the printing paper specification table (available for download online). For special sizes, detailed information should be provided.
The text and logo should be placed within 4mm from the edge of the finished product frame. Make sure not to cut through the text.
The text and symbols must be converted into curves (paths, creating outlines) to prevent the loss of fonts during file transmission, if necessary.
Please convert the text box into artistic characters and then apply the curve effect.
We only accept files created by CorellDraw 9.0. For other formats, please convert them yourself. If the draft was made using CorellDraw 10, simply save it as version 8.0.
l Please save the file in CDR format (for graphics with CorellDraw effects, convert them to bitmap format).
Please save the file in TIF format in Photoshop. ※ The image resolution should be above 350 dpi.
Please save FreeHand and Illustrator files in EPS format. ※ For attached images, please provide the image files as well.
Word is a document processing software rather than a drawing and layout software. Therefore, our company will not accept Word file archives.
All the printed materials on the PC and MAC should be placed on the same layer. Any non-printing-related materials should be ensured to be deleted.
Even if the background is white, the correct bleeding size rectangle frame must be created and the bleeding frame should be set to have no fill color.
Please, at the end of the original document, press the F4 key (to display all objects on the page) to check if there are any additional graphic objects that have not been deleted. Also, use the frame mode to check if any objects or text have been covered by the background image.
II. Color Section:
The color mode should be C, M, Y, K.
The colors of any display or printer cannot be used as the standard for printing colors. Please always use the CMYK four-color color chart to allow customers to choose the colors. If the color requirements are very strict, please use the four-color electronic proofing for finalization before the final version is produced.
For customers who have strict requirements for color, please inform the layout team after the printing process to keep a copy as a sample sheet. This can be used as a color-checking sample for the next printing run (samples for color correction are not accepted for use by our company unless they are printed by us).
The color combinations of the color blocks should avoid using dark colors or full-color combinations. Otherwise, during the post-printing cutting process, there is a high possibility of back-printing and fraying. For large color blocks, it is recommended to use matte glue.
The setting of the background color or pattern should not be less than 10% to avoid the inability to display it in the printed product.
Images and photos should be created in CMYK mode and stored in TIFF file format. Do not input them in PSD format. If you use CD design, separate drop shadows, and use transparency or filters for coloring, reconvert them to bitmap once. Set the color mode to CMYK 32-bit and the resolution to 350 dpi.
Use the dropper tool to check the CMYK color content in the image, to prevent the occurrence of the four-color black situation.
For MAC users, please provide a separate black-and-white copy of the design. Otherwise, we will not be responsible for any cases of missed printing or color deviations.
Since the business cards, flyers and posters are all printed in full-color, the allowable deviation for color accuracy is ±10%.
III. Drawing Section:
All the input or manually drawn lines must have a line thickness setting of no less than 0.1mm. If this requirement is not met, the printed product may have broken lines or fail to be presented properly.
If the wireframe is set to "scale with the image", please carefully check it after the final draft is completed. Otherwise, during the output and printing process, it may deform or result in irregular wireframes.
Do not * Do not use "Precise Frame Cropping" or "Filters". If you must use them, please convert the object to an image at the end. Otherwise, some objects may not print out.
