For example, 16 open to open printing paper three fold, the back plate accounts for 16 page numbers; 16 folio printing sheet two fold, back version accounting for 8 page numbers; Thirty-two folio sheets are four fold, with thirty-two pages on the back; 32 open to open printing sheet three fold, back to back copy account for 16 page numbers. The total number of pages divided by the number of pages per printed sheet equals the number of printed sheets.
3. When arranging the page numbers of books and periodicals, the influence of the paper thickness on the binding quality and the page number arrangement should be grasped. Such as printing 32-open specifications of books and periodicals, 60g/m2 of tissue paper can be folded in half; And 60g/m2 above 70g/m2, 80g/m2 book edition paper, offset paper, and even coated paper color pictorial, due to the thick paper, the layout of the page number takes into account the requirements of printing, binding and other processes, it is obviously not possible to fold the open sheet four fold, even if it is reluctantly folded, the folded book has a thick back, the cut book page number error is very large, staggered before and after inconsistent, It affects the beauty of books and makes the printing and binding quality of books damaged. Therefore, for thick paper books and magazines above 60g/m2, the number of folds of the book should be reduced as far as possible when arranging the page number of the book, so as to control the thickness of the book and avoid the page number of the book and the layout center image offset, which affects the beauty.
4. Experienced publishing houses and periodical magazines arrange book pages as far as possible with integer sheets, or add one and a half sheets, in order to facilitate the printing and binding of books. However, in actual work, we often encounter the final remaining 0.75, 0.8, 0.9 and other printing sheets, so how to arrange the remaining sporadic printing sheets is the most appropriate? If the sporadic printing sheet is used in paperback, binding, hardcover lock line and other binding methods, do not put the remaining sporadic printing sheet to the end of a book, it is best to arrange the sporadic page number that is not enough for a complete printing sheet in front of the last, so as to prevent the book binding because of sporadic pages, resulting in scattered pages and page drops and other failures. For the scattered sheets or loose pages that are not enough for a printed sheet, it is better to insert them into the middle of the book, so as to avoid the phenomenon of falling pages and loose pages on the spine of the book.
5. When writing the page number of the book, the handwriting is required to be clear, so that the operator can read it clearly. For each sheet, and not enough for a sheet of sporadic printing, must be written on the first page of the sheet after folding the page number sequence number, title, etc., if the page number encountered directory, preface, inscription, advertisement, editor's note, preface, etc., must be marked on the specific location of the page number, to avoid mistakes, errors, etc.
6. When offset printing, it is necessary to install a good book in the plate cylinder, adjust the machine, and set aside the position of the book roof, footing, incision, etc. It is necessary to compare the page number of the book and the proofing sheet to prevent the printing quality accidents caused by the dislocation and reversal of the printing plate.
