Production process of paper box printing and packaging
The paper box is a packaging box made of paper materials for packaging commodities. To evaluate the quality of the paper box, it is not only necessary to evaluate the quality of the paper box printing, but also to evaluate the shape and processing complexity of the paper box. The paper box is generally made of paper materials that have good printing performance and are suitable for the packaged goods. The manufacturing process of the paper box is: plate making and printing → surface processing → die cutting and indentation → box making.
1. Printing plate making
Compared with other processes, the traditional plate-making process has a relatively low degree of automation and many manual processes. It mainly uses letterpress, lithography, photogravure, flexographic printing, and now mainly lithographic printing. The traditional prepress plate making process is more complicated, which also makes it replaced by CTP imposition technology
2. Surface processing
It can be coated with polyethylene, pasted surface film, waxed, foil pressed, embossed and other processes according to needs. The process is: processing positioning; material processing; paper box printing; heating the mold in the hot pressing layer; positioning the material processed by the mold; pressurizing the mold and material with a press; heat preservation and pressure. In addition, not all paper box packaging products will require surface finishing.
3. Die-cut indentation
The die-cutting and indentation process is a process of rolling and forming the printed matter under the action of pressure by using a template arranged by steel knives and steel wires. The plate making of the die-cutting plate is generally made of plywood. The process flow is: draw the box sample drawing → draw the imposition plan → copy the imposition design drawing → transfer the imposition design drawing to the plywood → drilling and sawing → Rule → Make a die-cut negative template.
4. Box making process
The paper box is folded into a paper box shape by a paper box making machine. The forming process of the paper box can be divided into a paste paper box and a folding paper box. The paper box making box is another type of paper box made by laminating the veneer material and the substrate cardboard, which can only be transported and stored in a fixed box type. Folding paper box is usually made of thin anti-folding cardboard (thickness of 0.3-1.1mm) after cutting and creasing, folding and forming, and folded flat for transportation and storage before loading into goods.
