Nine Dragons Paper Tianjin/Hebei Base: Starting from August 1st, the price of corrugated paper will increase by 30 yuan per ton.
Nine Dragons Paper Hubei Base: Starting from August 1st, the price of recycled kraft paper will increase by 30 yuan per ton.
Nine Dragons Paper Chongqing Base: Starting from August 1st, the price of all kraft paper will increase by 30 yuan per ton.
Jiangxi Liwen Paper: Starting from August 1st, the price of B paper, E paper and core paper will be increased by 30 yuan per ton.
Hubei Rongcheng Paper Industry: Starting from August 1st, the price of all paper types will be increased by 30 yuan per ton.
According to incomplete statistics, this is the fourth round of price increase letters in the paper market this month. Over the past 20-plus days, paper enterprises represented by Nine Dragons Paper have repeatedly called for price hikes. The prices of various types of base paper have alternated, with a single increase of 30 yuan per ton. Overall, however, the implementation of price hikes varies from region to region and has not yet formed a significant impact.
Nowadays, leading paper mills have once again raised prices in advance. Their aim of stimulating shipments and reducing inventory is self-evident. At the same time, they have also sent a signal to the downstream packaging industry that the price of base paper will continue to rise.
At present, the market demand for terminal consumer brands is still recovering, but the recovery speed is relatively slow. The overall market situation has room for growth, but it is rather limited.
