Customs data shows that in November 2025, domestic imports of pulp totaled approximately 260,000 tons, up 24.92% year-on-year and 22.7% month-on-month. Among them, the import of bleached coniferous wood pulp was approximately 725,000 tons, increasing by 10.1% year-on-year and 4.9% month-on-month. The import volume of bleached broadleaf wood pulp was approximately 1.765 million tons, increasing by 29.7% year-on-year and 33.9% month-on-month. The import of this color paste was approximately 94,000 tons, an increase of 48.2% year-on-year and 9.3% month-on-month. The import of chemical machinery pulp was approximately 104,000 tons, increasing by 50.5% year-on-year and about 9% month-on-month.
From January to November 2025, China's cumulative imports of bleached coniferous wood pulp reached 7.847 million tons, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year. The cumulative import of bleached broadleaf wood pulp reached 15,590 tons, an increase of 12.2% year-on-year. The cumulative import of this color paste reached 976,000 tons, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year. The cumulative import of chemical machinery pulp reached 1.148 million tons, an increase of 0.8% year-on-year.
